One of the core values here at Encounter is community.  We believe that Christianity is meant to be lived out in the context of community, not alone. The main way we do that is through Deeper Life Small Groups.  Groups of college students and young adults from Encounter meet all over the city throughout the week to pray, learn, evangelize, and encourage each other in their faith.

Deeper Life is the core of our entire ministry in the same way that Jesus used a small group of disciples as the core of His ministry. These disciples eventually became the leadership of the early Church. It is in Deeper Life that students are able to ask questions, better learn to pray, gain confidence in evangelism, discuss hard issues, and simply make friends that will stand with you through thick and thin.
